Apparently, the Seattle Seahawks felt he was not a fit with their organization. Perhaps Harvin’s injury history played into this decision as well? Either way, the Jets will take it. They need playmakers in the worst way.

As for whether or not Harvin will be excited about the trade, it seems unlikely. Going from the world champs to a 1-6 team during the middle of a season is not exactly a dream situation.
