Week 8 Matchup: Indianapolis Colts (5-2) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Oct. 26, 4:25 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Heinz Field
Line: Indianapolis (-3.5)
The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8. Although Pittsburgh is coming off a much-needed victory, the Colts are red-hot, and look to continue their streak this week.
Luckily for Pittsburgh, it gets this game at home. The Steelers have been on a win one, lose one trend since the start of the 2014 season. If that trend continues this week, they will drop this contest to the Colts. However, trends were meant to be broken, and Pittsburgh enters with some momentum.
With that said, Andrew Luck and Co. have now won five games in a row. After losing the first two of the season, that was just what the doctor ordered. Indianapolis is coming off a solid performance to say the least — beat the Cincinnati Bengals by the score of 27-0.
Win or lose, the Colts will still have the lead in the AFC South, while Pittsburgh could use another victory since it is trailing the Baltimore Ravens and Bengals in the AFC North.
Although Indianapolis has been on a roll since Week 3, look for the Steelers to extend their win streak to two games. It won’t be easy, especially coming off a short week, but sometimes a little momentum and a home game is all a team needs to get it going.
Still, it will be interesting to see if Pittsburgh can contain Luck.
PREDICTION: Colts 23, Steelers 28
