Fan Goes Missing During Denver Broncos vs. San Diego Chargers Game
After finally coming up empty with the police department and local hospitals, a Colorado family is now seeking the public’s help in the search of 53-year old Paul Kitterman, who mysteriously disappeared during halftime at an NFL game between the Denver Broncos and the San Diego Chargers last Thursday night at Sports Authority Field. He was attending the game with his son Jarod Tonneson and a couple of friends.
Tonneson indicated that he and his father had gone to the restroom during intermission of the game, which the Broncos won 35-21. Kitterman waited outside of the restroom while Tonneson went in. When he returned, his father was nowhere to be found. He immediately assumed that Kitterman had simply gotten lost, which is easy to do in a stadium that seats 74,000 people.
His son also told reporters that his father didn’t have a cellphone in his possession and wasn’t too accustomed to the elements of the city. Kitterman was a cattle rancher and construction worker who resides 80 miles outside of Denver in the mountainous, northwestern town of Kremmling, CO.
Family and friends have put together flyers which are circulating in the areas by the Denver Police Department. The flyers describe Kitterman as a 190-pound white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen at Sports Authority Field wearing a black hoodie and an orange Broncos ball cap.
After five days of looking into the matter, local authorities and investigators indicate that they have no criminal evidence that suggests foul-play or proof of a crime. At this point, they are viewing it as a grown man who left on his own accord.
Despite the lack of answers thus far, Kitterman’s loved ones remain hopeful as they continue to search the parking lots, bushes and surrounding areas of Sports Authority Field. Investigators are also reviewing surveillance tapes of the stadium in hope to uncover clues to his disappearance. Anyone with information linked to Kitterman’s disappearance is encouraged to contact Denver Police Department immediately at 720-913-2000.
