Chargers vs. Dolphins NFL Week 9: TV Schedule, Betting Lines, Prediction
Week 9 Matchup: San Diego Chargers (5-3) vs. Miami Dolphins (4-3)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 2, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Sun Life Stadium
Line: Miami (-1)
The San Diego Chargers have lost two games in a row. Unfortunately, it will not get much easier for them against the Miami Dolphins in Week 9.
To the Chargers’ credit, they have lost to two solid teams in back-to-back games (Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs). With a bye week right around the corner, I am sure San Diego would love to enter with a victory, rather than a three-game losing streak. That is especially true given the fact that the Broncos look amazing this season, as expected. Therefore, San Diego really cannot afford to lose any more games, at least for quite some time, if it plans on winning its division.
Now, not only are the Dolphins on a two-game winning streak, but both victories have come on the road. With that said, one victory was against the Chicago bears, a team as up-and-down as they come, and the other to the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are having a bad, bad year. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, San Diego is a solid team, and has what it takes to make a playoff run. It has to get there first, but still.
Although the Chargers are playing on the road, I am predicting them to bounce back after dropping two straight. Look for them to be all over QB Ryan Tannehill in this one.
PREDICTION: Chargers 24, Dolphins 17
