As the clock wound down on the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ blowout win over the Baltimore Ravens, the Steelers scored a touchdown late to seal the deal. During the ensuing PAT kick, yet another fight broke out on the field. As a scuffle began, two unlikely candidates entered the mix.
The Steelers’ kicker, Shaun Suisham, and punter, Brad Wing, both got involved in the fight, pulling safety Anthony Levine off of the pile and “ganging up” on him. The two confronted and pushed the player after Suisham manhandled him, and were even ushered off the field by the refs after the “altercation” came to their attention.
Kickers and punters aren’t typically known for getting involved in fights, but Suisham and Wing are trying to change that preconception.
