Week 10 Matchup: San Francisco 49ers (4-4) vs. New Orleans Saints (4-4)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 9, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX
Stadium: Mercedes-Benz Superdome
Line: New Orleans (-5)
The San Francisco 49ers picked the wrong time do go on a losing streak. After all, they will take on the New Orleans Saints next on the road.
Needless to say, the Saints are practically unstoppable at home. They are, of course, undefeated at home on the year. Heck, they even managed to walk all over a red-hot Green Bay Packers team at home, winning by the score of 44-23 in Week 8. New Orleans is coming off a victory on the road (finally) against the Carolina Panthers. That win has them at the top of their division and in great shape heading into Week 10.
The same thing cannot be said about the 49ers, who have now lost two in a row. Things are also not looking that great for them in the NFC West, and the team cannot really afford another loss. San Francisco could only manage 10 points against the St. Louis Rams in Week 9, and it was stomped on vs. the Denver Broncos in Week 7.
I am sure there are plenty of people who think the 49ers will bounce back this weekend, but I am not one of those people. Not with how well the Saints play at home. Therefore, I am expecting a big game out of Drew Brees and for his team to win its third straight.
PREDICTION: 49ers 24, Saints 33
