Week 10 Matchup: New York Giants (3-5) vs. Seattle Seahawks (5-3)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 9, 4:25 p.m. ET, FOX
Stadium: CenturyLink Field
Line: Seattle (-9.5)
The New York Giants could use a win right about now. However, the team will not only be going up against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10, but they will also be going up against the defending champs on the road.
New York’s losing streak is now at three games and it more than likely will go up to four. The Giants went through a span where they looked like they would compete for a spot in the playoffs, but that time appears to be over. The NFC East has two solid teams in front of New York right now, and both teams very well could be in the playoffs this year.
Seattle already having three losses is definitely a surprise, but the team is still very good, and has now won two in a row. It remains to be seen if the Seahawks will win back-to-back Super Bowls, but making the playoffs should at least be expected. Winning this contest at home should also be expected.
The Giants’ offense will really have to come ready to play if it plans on upsetting Seattle at its own house, but the team has really been struggling lately. Unfortunately, things will not get much easier for the team after this matchup — plays San Francisco and Dallas after this one. With that said, things could go from bad to worse in a few short weeks for the Giants.
PREDICTION: Giants 21, Seahawks 24
