Things have not been going well for the New York Giants this season. They are currently 3-5, and coming off of an embarrassing home defeat at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts.
The offense has been floundering under offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo, who was brought in to take it to new heights. Injuries have also plagued the Giants, as they have been without running back Rashad Jennings for the past three games and wide receiver Victor Cruz is out for the season with a torn patellar tendon. To make matters worse, starting cornerback Prince Amukamara is also out for the season after tearing his bicep on Monday.
The Giants are struggling as a team, and things won’t get much easier this week as they face the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle.
While the defending champs have been brought back down to earth this season, CenturyLink Field is still one of the toughest places to play this season and the Giants will need a lot of help if they are going to come away with a win.
The key for the Giants this week will be wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. who will be looking to have another big game this week after torching the Colts with eight receptions for 156 yards.
Since he made his debut in Week 5, Beckham Jr. has been the Giants best receiver, compiling 262 yards, three touchdowns and a 14.6 yard per catch average in just four games.
Beckham Jr. will have his work cut out for him against the Seahawks secondary, but if he can have a strong game it will go a long way towards helping the Giants escape Seattle with a much needed victory.
