Adrian Peterson is currently awaiting a ruling from the NFL on his immediate playing future. After reaching a plea deal in his child abuse case earlier this week, the clock began ticking on his status for the remainder of the season. But if and when he does return, he’ll be back without one of his top endorsements.
Nike, which suspended its contract with Adrian Peterson on 9/17, has now terminated the deal.

It’s really no surprise that Nike terminated its deal with AP. The company has severed ties in the past with other stars in hot water, and there was no reason for this case to be any different.
Although, isn’t it a bit odd that Nike is on a high horse when it comes to child abuse? To be fair, the company has apparently solved a lot of its child labor problems.
