Week 12 certainly wasn't lacking headlines. Todd Gurley made his return only to tear his ACL. The No. 1 team in the country was defeated, while Florida State staged another comeback. In addition, the single-game rushing record was broken (in three quarters). With all that happened in Week 12, several players stepped up their game. Here are the five prospects who helped their draft stock the most.

5. Doran Grant (CB-Ohio State)

Doran Grant has been slowly sliding down draft boards for much of the season, but the only returning starter in Ohio State's secondary impressed against Minnesota. Grant was stout against David Cobb and the run game, picking up seven tackles. Grant finished with one interception and had another which he returned for a touchdown called back due to a blown pass interference call. He's the No. 11 corner on my board and ranks just inside my top 100.

USC has had many star receivers over the years, but Nelson Agholor is the only one to record back-to-back 200 yard receiving games. The second came against California, the worst pass defense in the country. He recorded 16 catches for 216 yards and two touchdowns. After playing with Robert Woods and Marqise Lee his first two years, Agholor is finally the Trojans' No. 1 WR. He's also a solid return man and will be a great option early in Round 3.

3. Tevin Coleman (RB-Indiana)

While Melvin Gordon stole the headlines, Tevin Coleman rushed for 307 yards against Rutgers. Despite being the only threat Indiana has on offense, he's rushed for over 100 yards in nine of 10 games this year. He has a tough test this week against Ohio State but should finish up strong facing Purdue. Indiana will not make a bowl this year, so these two games are critical for Coleman. He's currently a top five RB and rated as a late Round 2 pick.

As a four-year starter, Ibraheim Campbell is the leader of the Northwestern defense. He's also a big reason why the Wildcats upset Notre Dame. He secured seven tackles, but his two forced fumbles in the fourth quarter (one at the one-yard line, the other as the Irish were running out the clock) allowed Northwestern to get back into the game. Campbell is best suited for the strong safety position in the NFL and is a projected sixth-round pick.

Gordon set a new FBS record with 408 yards rushing against Nebraska. It was his fourth game this year with at least 200 rushing yards. Breaking the record will certainly help his draft stock, but it's the season-ending injury to Georgia's Todd Gurley that will elevate Gordon the most. He now needs to seriously be considered as the top RB in the draft. The offensive line gets a boost too, with RT Rob Havenstein being the best prospect.
