Week 12 Matchup: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-8) vs. Chicago Bears (4-6)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 23, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX
Stadium: Soldier Field
Line: Chicago (-6)
The Chicago Bears have to be feeling pretty good about their Week 12 matchup. After all, they will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have only won a total of two games this year. Heck, the Bears have doubled that total this year. The only problem is that they have six losses as well.
Regardless, Tampa Bay is coming off a victory against the Washington Redskins. Before that W, the team was riding a five-game losing streak, and was still in contention for the worst record in the NFL. That clearly is not a good thing to be in contention for. At the very least, Mike Evans has been one bright spot on this team. He did have 209 receiving yards and two TDs last game.
After dropping three games in a row, the Bears finally captured their fourth win of 2014. Surprisingly enough, it was Chicago’s first win at home this season. In this matchup, they will once again be at home.
Neither team is likely to make the playoffs this year, but it is the Bears who could still finish above .500. That wouldn’t necessarily be the worst thing in the word. This team was just 3-6 last week. A win in this one, which I am predicting, will have the Bears at 5-6. That will certainly keep fans happy and give this team some momentum going forward.
PREDICTION: Buccaneers 10, Bears 17
