Week 12 Matchup: New York Jets (2-8) vs. Buffalo Bills (5-5)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 23, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Ralph Wilson Stadium
Line: Buffalo (-4.5)
Things are not looking too good for either team entering Week 12, at least when it comes to making the playoffs, or possibly even finishing the season with a decent record.
The Buffalo Bills have dropped two straight and are well behind the New England Patriots in their division. With that in mind, Buffalo knocked off the New York Jets in Week 8. That game was played on the road for the Bills, and they will get to play in front of their fans this time around. Also, they won by the score of 43-23.
The Jets basically have no shot at the playoffs. They are, however, coming off a bye. Before that bye, they took down the Pittsburgh Steelers, which I am sure not many people saw coming. This is a team that has not scored many points this season (174). The Bills haven’t been that much better in that department (200), but they have allowed way less. Buffalo has allowed 204 points, while New York has allowed 265 points.
Buffalo has the line, will be playing at home and already beat the Jets once this season. New York has also only won two games. With all of that in mind, although the Bills have dropped two straight, it is hard to not favor them in this matchup.
PREDICTION: Jets 16, Bills 24
