Week 12 Matchup: Green Bay Packers (7-3) vs. Minnesota Vikings (4-6)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 23, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX
Stadium: TCF Bank Stadium
Line: Green Bay (-10)
The last time these two teams met — in Week 5 to be exact — the Green Bay Packers knocked off the Minnesota Vikings with ease. Something tells me that Round 2 won’t be any different.
Maybe that is because Minnesota simply is not as good as Green Bay. Not to mention, it doesn’t have an Aaron Rodgers. The Vikings also just went down to the Chicago Bears, who are simply nowhere near as good as the Packers. With that said, Minnesota did have to travel on the road for that contest.
Green Bay is on fire right now and that fire likely won’t die down in Week 12. The team has scored 50+ points in the last two games. One was against Chicago and the other was against the Philadelphia Eagles. Both were played at home for the Packers, but still.
This Green Bay team has the talent to win the Super Bowl this year. The same thing cannot be said about Minnesota. Hopefully the Vikings will eventually get there, but definitely not this year.
With the way the Packers have been going off lately, give me them any day of the week to win. That is especially true against Minnesota (even when the Vikings are at home), who previously lost to Green Bay by the score of 42-10 earlier in the season.
PREDICTION: Packers 30, Vikings 24
