Latavius Murray Emerges as Gamebreaker With 90-Yard TD Run
For the last two years, Oakland Raiders running back Latavius Murray has been patiently waiting for his opportunity to make plays. After missing his rookie season with an ankle injury and sitting behind two aging veterans to start the 2014 season, Murray finally got a chance to show his stuff on Thursday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Well, he didn’t disappoint. After scoring an 11-yard run to give the Raiders the lead, Murray broke off a 90-yard scamper on the next possession to widen the gap.
Not only did Murray show excellent vision on the big run, but also displayed excellent speed to pull away. The Raiders’ 2014 campaign is a lost cause, but they may have found their running back of the future.
Welcome to the NFL, Murray.
