Week 13 Matchup: Miami Dolphins (6-5) vs. New York Jets (2-9)
TV Schedule: Monday, Dec. 1, 8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN
Stadium: MetLife Stadium
Line: Miami (-6.5)
This may not be the most exciting Monday night matchup we have ever seen, but maybe it will surprise us? The New York Jets are the farthest thing away from a playoff team right now, while the Miami Dolphins have had a pretty solid season. Who knows if that will result in a playoff spot, though.
Miami fans have to like their team’s chances of winning this one. Playing on the road is never easy, but the Jets are not a good football team. Miami, on the other hand, almost beat the Denver Broncos last week. I’ll tell you one thing, Denver is a much better team than New York.
The Jets only scored three points last game, while the Buffalo Bills put 38 points up on the scoreboard. You could say it was a one-sided affair. Surprisingly enough, the game before that New York knocked off the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, the Jets were on an eight-game losing streak before that. It has been a rough season in New York this year.
Miami may not catch up to the New England Patriots, but it can at least expect a victory in this Monday night matchup. The Dolphins cannot afford to lose this game if they plan on making the playoffs, but something tells me they won’t lose. Call it a hunch, if you will.
PREDICTION: Dolphins 24, Jets 10
