10 Biggest Losers From NFL Week 13

Week 13 is almost in the books with one more game remaining between Miami and the New York Jets. That said, you can tell by now who were the clear winners and losers from this week's action. These 10 players, coaches and teams were the biggest losers in Week 13.

Coming off their only win of the season, the Oakland Raiders were outflanked, outcoached and outmatched against St. Louis. In a 52-0 shutout loss, the Raiders managed only 244 total yards of offense, were sacked six times, and turned the ball over five times. On defense, the Raiders gave up 172 yards on the ground and allowed four rushing touchdowns.

Instead of playing with a lot of emotion after losing Eric Berry, the Kansas City Chiefs, especially their offense, sputtered against the Broncos. For the 13th straight week, the Chiefs' wide receivers failed to score a touchdown and the offense managed just 151 total yards of offense. It's safe to say that the Broncos have had the Chiefs' number over the past two seasons, winning all four matchups.

The Panthers are still in the race for the NFC South crown, but they are slowing and playing their way out of the playoffs. In a 31-13 loss, Ron Rivera's team gave up two blocked punts for touchdowns. The moves that made Rivera a genius last year aren't working out so well this year.

Just two weeks ago, the Arizona Cardinals were being talked about as NFC favorites. Fast forward to now, and the Cards are slowly losing their lead in the NFC West. Against Atlanta, the Cardinals' defense, which was their biggest strength, gave up 500 yards and 29 points. It was their second-biggest total of the season. If Drew Stanton can't get it done, Arizona will be hard-pressed just to make the playoffs.
6. Brian Hoyer

Brian Hoyer's hold on the Cleveland Browns is slowly slipping after another lackluster performance. Against Buffalo, Hoyer completed 18-of-30 passes for 1922 yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions. In the fourth quarter, Hoyer was benched in favor of Johnny Manziel. Over the last four weeks, Hoyer has thrown for one touchdown and six interceptions.

A few years back, Dick LeBeau's defense was one of the best in the NFL. Now, the respected defensive coordinator is coaching an average unit who can't stop anyone in the passing game. Against New Orleans, the Steelers' secondary allowed five touchdowns to Drew Brees. The defense, which was once a strength, is now Pittsburgh's biggest weakness.
4. The Dallas Offensive Line

The major reason for Dallas' turnaround this season has been the play of the offensive line, but against Philadelphia, this unit was dominated by the Eagles' front. In a 33-10 loss, the offensive line failed to open enough holes for DeMarco Murray, who ran for 73 yards, and failed to protect Tony Romo, who was sacked four times and threw two interceptions.
3. Tom Coughlin

Tom Coughlin's up-and-down tenure hit its lowest point in years this week against his former team. Leading 21-3 at halftime, the Giants suffered another second-half collapse as they were outscored 22-3 in the final 30 minutes for a 25-24 loss. After more than a decade in New York, maybe it's time for a change at the top for Big Blue.
2. Andy Dalton

Facing the lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Andy Dalton was almost the single-biggest reason why the Bengals nearly lost 14-13. Dalton completed 20-of-28 passes, but only for 187 yards and three interceptions. All of the perceptions about Dalton heading into 2014 are coming true in 2014. The Bengals can't win anything significant with him under center.

After last Thursday's performance against Seattle, Colin Kaepernick is clearly not the answer for San Francisco's offense. A gifted runner, Kaepernick can't get it done in the pocket. He completed just 16-of-29 passes for 121 yards for no touchdowns and two interceptions. His regression as a passer is keeping a Super Bowl-caliber roster from even contending for the postseason.
