Buccaneers vs. Lions NFL Week 14: TV Schedule, Betting Lines, Prediction
Week 14 Matchup: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-10) vs. Detroit Lions (8-4)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Dec. 7, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX
Stadium: Ford Field
Line: Detroit (-10)
The Detroit Lions could probably rest their starters and still come away with the victory in this Week 14 matchup. Although that may be a bit harsh, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are without a doubt one of the worst teams in the NFL this season. Just look at their record.
Although the Buccaneers have only given up 42 points in their last three games, they have only won one of those games. Their offense hasn’t exactly been scoring at will either, which has been an issue for this team the entire season. Unfortunately for Tampa Bay, things could get even worse. Not only is it going up against Detroit this week, but it still has to play the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints.
Detroit is coming off a victory against the Chicago Bears. Although the Bears aren’t the most threatening team in the league, they are much better than the Buccaneers, for what it’s worth.
More than likely, the Buccaneers will struggle to score in this game, and the Lions will cruise to victory at home. If you see it going any other way, you are likely a die-hard Tampa Bay fan, or are hoping for the Buccaneers to have one of their best games of the year. Detroit would also more than likely have to take the night off to lose this contest.
PREDICTION: Buccaneers 10, Lions 28
