Chiefs vs. Cardinals NFL Week 14: TV Schedule, Betting Lines, Prediction
Week 14 Matchup: Kansas City Chiefs (7-5) vs. Arizona Cardinals (9-3)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Dec. 7, 4:05 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: U of Phoenix Stadium
Line: Arizona (-1)
This matchup may not have as much intrigue as a battle between the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots, but Kansas City Chiefs vs. Arizona Cardinals is still must-watch TV.
Kansas City has now lost two games in a row and could really use a victory to stay in contention for a playoff spot. It could also use a win to try and keep pace with the Denver Broncos, who beat the Chiefs twice this year. Their last four games of the regular season will be no cakewalk. The toughest game left of the season will without a doubt be against the Cardinals, so winning this one would certainly be quite the momentum booster.
Like the Chiefs, the Cardinals have been on a cold streak. They have lost back-to-back games. Their schedule isn’t much easier either, as they still have to play the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. Arizona now only has a one-game lead over Seattle for the division lead. With that in mind, the contest between the two teams in Week 16 could be for all of the marbles. In the NFC West, that is.
Although both of these teams are capable of going on a run in the playoffs, it is really hard to go against a team as talented as the Cardinals when they are playing at their own house. Therefore, I am predicting them to win this battle.
PREDICTION: Chiefs 17, Cardinals 21
