Panthers vs. Saints NFL Week 14: TV Schedule, Betting Lines, Prediction
Week 14 Matchup: Carolina Panthers (3-8-1) vs. New Orleans Saints (5-7)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Dec. 7, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX
Stadium: Mercedes-Benz Superdome
Line: New Orleans (-10)
With the playoffs right around the corner, the New Orleans Saints will try to make a push for their spot, while the Carolina Panthers will likely get the season off early. To put it lightly, the Panthers are not a playoff team.
Carolina still hasn’t won a game in what feels like forever. To be exact, Oct. 5 was the last time the Panthers recorded a win. Since then, the team has come close to winning (it even tied a game during that span), and it has been blown out. In Carolina’s most recent game, it lost to the Minnesota Vikings by the score of 31-13.
New Orleans, on the other hand, is coming off a much-needed road win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although the Saints definitely don’t have the best record in the NFL, they do have a pretty manageable schedule. Beating the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16 will be the key, though.
New Orleans has surprisingly struggled at home this year, but expect Drew Brees and co. to get back on track in this battle. The last time these two teams met, the Saints won by the score of 28-10. That game was played on the road for Brees’ team, so just imagine how much damage they could do playing at home.
PREDICTION: Panthers 21, Saints 35
