It’s been a disastrous season for the Chicago Bears. The poster child for the season has been Jay Cutler, who has underperformed this season in what was supposed to be his breakout season.
With the Bears constantly behind and camera shots of the sideline with that familiar Cutler pouting face, fans are fed up and the swell to push Cutler out of Chicago is intensifying. With rumors that there is a chance Cutler may be on his way out and most Bears fans wanting exactly that, their voice is becoming more and more vocal.
They want their voice heard, and every fan expresses that frustration differently. Some boo, some yell at the television, some call sports talk shows to complain and others make parody songs. Check out this hilarious parody song about Cutler. A spoof from Great Big World’s ‘Say Something,’ here is Firago with ‘Jay Cutler (I’m Giving up on You)’. Enjoy!
If you haven’t seen the original video from Great Big World I suggest checking it out so you can appreciate the parallels between the two videos, but this is an excellent parody job by Firago. I have a hunch that this isn’t the first type of parody we are going to see this season as the fans continue to give up on this lost Bears season.
I will be waiting for the next parody — how about one for Marc Trestman to Living Colour’s ‘Cult of Personality’ flipped to ‘Devoid of Personality ‘ — any takers?
