Week 16 Matchup: Buffalo Bills (8-6) vs. Oakland Raiders (2-12)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Dec. 21, 4:25 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: O.co Coliseum
Line: Buffalo (-6)
While the Oakland Raiders have been eliminated from the playoffs for quite some time now, the Buffalo Bills still have a shot at making it. With that said, the Bills could certainly use two victories in their last two games.
Buffalo may have to travel on the road for this Week 16 contest, but it is playing Oakland, who only has two wins this season. Although upsets happen, don’t expect the Bills to slip up this week. Let’s not forget that the Bills did just knock off the Green Bay Packers last week. The Packers are playing on a different level this year, so you could say it was a pretty big win.
Oakland will close out yet another nightmare season against the Bills and Denver Broncos. As a result, it will more than likely finish with a 2-14 record. Now that I said that, watch the Raiders flip the switch and win their last two games (yeah, not happening). The Raiders did capture a win in Week 14, but then they followed that win up with a 13-point performance against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Buffalo shouldn’t have any problem against Oakland. The real test will be against the New England Patriots in Week 17. If the Bills can somehow find a way to win their last two games, they very well could be in the playoffs. Stay tuned for that one.
PREDICTION: Bills 21, Raiders 3
