San Francisco 49ers’ Ray McDonald Being Investigated For Sexual Assault

Ray McDonald‘s controversial 2014 season has just gotten a little more controversial. The San Francisco 49ers DE was arrested earlier in the year on allegations that he assaulted his pregnant fiancee. The charges against him were later dropped, but not after a ton of heat was placed on the 49ers for continuing to play him throughout the investigation.
Now, it appears McDonald is the subject of a sexual assault investigation:
San Jose PD says it is investigating sexual assault allegation reported Tuesday. Ray McDonald alleged as suspect. No arrests at this point.

It will be interesting to see how this investigation shakes out, and also whether or not the 49ers sit him down for the rest of the season.
