The New York Giants will soon be headed into the offseason, and they will begin their team evaluations to see how they will begin building their team for 2015. This includes the potential free agents both on and off their team now. The following are five free agent players the Giants should target for 2015, some of whom aren't far from their current roster.

5. Antrel Rolle, Safety

Rolle is the heart and soul of this defense, and although he will be coming off a year where he didn't play up to most fans' and his standards, he is still considered a top-flight safety in the NFL. He wants to finish his career in New York and may be willing to work with the Giants on a contract. Under a better scheme he could return to his ball-hawking ways.

4. Terrance Knighton, Defensive Tackle

Knighton is having one of his best years in Denver, as rated by Pro Football Focus. He is a space eater who can also rush the passer and would be a perfect fit along the defensive line next to Giants standout Johnathan Hankins. He won't command top level money like Ndamukong Suh, but he wouldn't come cheap either, so the Giants would have to probably restructure some current player contracts to sign him.

3. Larry Donnell, Tight End

The Giants have had a history of finding TEs with little to no fanfare and turning them into breakout players. Donnell looked like one of those players after his four TD performance against Washington earlier in the year, but he has tailed off predictably since. He is still a raw talent, but under offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo he can become a breakout star next year. The Giants would be able to retain him for very little money.

2. Brian Bulaga, Right Tackle

The Giants' offensive line has been a weakness all year long, partially because they've had to shuffle it due to injuries. Bulaga is a young franchise right tackle who could be a longtime starter for the Giants for years to come. It would allow them to move Justin Pugh to his natural position at guard and help turn a weakness into a strength for 2015.

1. Jason Pierre-Paul, Defensive End

The Giants have been bad on defense all year long. Statistically speaking they are currently 28th in the NFL in total D and have been lower at different times this season. Pierre-Paul has been average for his talent level, but he's young and has had very little help on the other side to prevent double teams. With over 10 sacks this year, he still deserves a second deal from the Giants, who have let too many players in his situation walk recently.
