The Chicago Bears have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL this season, and their poor play has exposed several weaknesses on the roster. Chicago is a team in disarray, and it’s become clear this season that the Bears need to add a lot more young talent. With that said, here are the Bears' top five 2015 NFL Draft needs as things stand right now.

5. Safety

Brock Vereen has shown flashes of being a decent starting safety, but the other safety spot is a concern as Chris Conte can’t stay healthy and is mediocre when he’s in the lineup. The Bears don't have a chance at a top-notch safety, but a mid-round prospect with decent upside is plausible.

4. Pass Rusher

After releasing Julius Peppers into free agency, the Bears tried to replace him with Jared Allen in a move that has been a huge downgrade. Allen is well past his prime, and the team needs an above-average pass rusher in a bad way. With plenty of quality 4-3 defensive end prospects available in the 2015 class, expect the Bears to draft one.

3. Linebacker

While Shea McClellin hasn’t been quite the bust he’s been made out to be, he’s better suited in a rotational role. By bringing in someone to supplant McClellin as the starter, the Bears would improve their entire defense.

2. Cornerback

The Bears have one of the worst secondaries in all of football, and it starts at the cornerback position. Kyle Fuller hasn’t played well since bursting on to the scene, but he remains a very promising player in the long-term. Bringing in someone to put across from Fuller should be a top priority.

Jay Cutler has been an absolute disaster this season, and despite his big contract, his time in Chicago is likely over. Bringing in someone like Brett Hundley in the second round would make a lot of sense and give the passing game hope for the future.
