Week 17 Matchup: Buffalo Bills (8-7) vs. New England Patriots (12-3)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Dec. 28, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Gillette Stadium
Line: New England (-5.5)
While the Buffalo Bills have been eliminated from the playoffs once again, the New England Patriots have had one heck of a season, and will be many people’s favorites to win the Super Bowl as a result.
Buffalo lost to the Oakland Raiders last game. Oakland is not even close to being on the same level as the Patriots, so things could get ugly in this one. Then again, I am sure the Bills would love nothing more than to knock the Pats off to close out 2014.
New England has been on a roll for basically the entire season. Plus, it is riding a three-game winning streak into this one and beat the Bills earlier in the year.
With the Patriots rolling along, Tom Brady having yet another great season and the Bills’ playoff hopes coming to an end, it is hard not to go with New England in this Week 17 duel. With that in mind, the Patriots weren’t exactly on their A game last week, as they only beat the New York Jets by one point.
Regardless, that one was played on the road and the Pats will get to play at home this time around. Win or lose, look for the Patriots to make a run in the playoffs.
PREDICTION: Bills 21, Patriots 31
