The Carolina Panthers were one game away from getting a top-10 pick in this year's draft. Instead, they are one of the final eight teams remaining in the NFL playoffs. That's what being in the NFC South will do for you. Despite their recent winning streak, the Panthers have a lot of issues they need to address. Here is an early look at Carolina's 2015 draft.

Round 1: Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame

Offensive line and wide receiver are the two biggest needs for Carolina. I think they will get their offensive lineman in the first round with Ronnie Stanley. The Notre Dame left tackle hasn't officially announced if he is entering the draft, but he is certainly a first-round talent. He has good size and quick feet. Cam Newton would be smiling even more than usual if the Panthers got Stanley to protect his blind side.

Round 2: Ty Montgomery, WR, Stanford

Carolina has to put more weapons around Newton during this offseason. Ty Montgomery would be a great fit for them in the second round. He is a versatile wide receiver with good size, and could play in the slot or on the outside. Montgomery also took some snaps as a running back at Stanford and could be used effectively in Carolina's read-option plays.

Round 3: Kurtis Drummond, FS, Michigan State

Carolina's secondary has been playing better in the last month, but they can't count on Roman Harper much longer. Kurtis Drummond would be a great pick for the Panthers if he falls to the third round. Drummond has started 33 straight games for the very talented Michigan State secondary.

Round 4: Doran Grant, CB, Ohio State

The Panthers hit late in the draft last year at cornerback with Bene Benwikere, and would be wise to grab another corner this year. Doran Grant should be around in the fourth and would be a nice fit for Carolina. Grant played all four years at Ohio State and is a physical corner that they could use in the slot.

Round 5: Tyrus Thompson, OT, Oklahoma

It is all about taking shots at positions of need after the fourth round. Carolina needs all the help it can get on the offensive line. Tyrus Thompson is a big body at 6-foot-5, 320 pounds. His physical abilities give him the chance to be a solid player. It will come down to getting the right coaching for Thompson.

Round 6: Jamison Crowder, WR, Duke

Carolina fans would love to see Jamison Crowder in a Panthers uniform. The North Carolina native caught 283 passes during his career at Duke. He is only 5-foot-9, but has a chance to be a really good slot receiver in the NFL. Crowder would definitely be worth a look in the sixth round.

Round 7: Xzavier Dickson, LB, Alabama

The seventh round is a good time to grab someone for special teams. Xzavier Dickson from Alabama would be a good pick because you know he has been well coached. He is a big linebacker and has some pass rushing skills.
