Divisional Round Matchup: Dallas Cowboys (12-4) vs. Green Bay Packers (12-4)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Jan. 11, 1:05 p.m. ET, FOX
Stadium: Lambeau Field
Line: Green Bay (-6.5)
Both of these teams have had great seasons and have the talent to win a Super Bowl. Unfortunately for the Dallas Cowboys, they will have to travel to Green Bay this weekend to take on the Packers.
Dallas earned its playoff spot by finishing the season with four straight victories. It then beat the Detroit Lions in its first game of the postseason. Green Bay may be a tough team to beat at home, but it is the Cowboys who have yet to lose a game away from home. To no one’s surprise, the Packers are undefeated in their own house this season, so something has to give in this one.
Regardless, Tony Romo has some serious weapons (Dez Bryant and DeMarco Murray), and those weapons will be very tough to stop. On the flip side, Green Bay has Aaron Rodgers, who is basically unbeatable at Lambeau Field.
Rodgers and co. ended the season by winning seven of their last eight games. Hopefully their great play carries over to the playoffs. If Rodgers is his typical self, Green Bay could win this one with ease. Something tells me he will have a solid game, but Dallas will give the Packers a great fight.
Dallas certainly has the team to win, but it is so hard to go against the Packers in their own home. Expect Rodgers to throw a few TDs, and Green Bay to move on.
PREDICTION: Cowboys 24, Packers 30
