Yes, you read that correctly. Apparently, San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Jonathan Martin took out someone attempting to rob a Versace store, claiming it was his civic duty. Impressive, right?

Two things:
1. This is the same guy that had a mental breakdown and temporarily quit the NFL last year after his Miami Dolphins teammates, Richie Incognito in particular, began picking on him. So he can stand up to someone robbing a store, but he can’t stand up to his teammates? Makes no sense.
2. What was Martin doing in a Versace store? We know you have money, but you’re still a man. Have some pride.
There is no video (yet) and all we have to go off of is Martin’s word, but it’s an intriguing story nonetheless. We’ll wait and see if surveillance video ever emerges.
