The Indianapolis Colts lost at home to the New England Patriots in Week 11 by a score of 42-20. Indy also lost to the Denver Broncos earlier in the season, and fans saw how much that counted for on Sunday. Here are five reasons why the Colts will also turn the tables on the Patriots.

5. Daniel Herron

Indy has several offensive weapons that need to be accounted for, and Herron has added his name to that list. He's averaged 127 yards from scrimmage and a TD in the playoffs thus far. On top of Herron, T.Y. Hilton, Dwayne Allen, Coby Fleener, Donte Moncrief and Hakeem Nicks can have a big game at any time. A backfield threat will make a defensive game plan even tougher for the Pats to create.

Last time these teams met, New England had a bye the week before. Granted, so did the Colts, but Belichick loves a good bye week. It helps him come up with things that aren't technically against the rules (ask John Harbaugh). In his career with the Patriots, Belichick is 11-4 after the bye in the regular season, and 8-1 with a week off in the postseason.

3. Andrew Luck

You've seen Luck take over a game several times in his young career already. That's what it's going to take to beat New England at Foxboro. He's led Indy to the playoffs in each of his first three seasons. Now in season three, Luck's big boy pants are on, and he's ready for the Super Bowl. He's 3-2 in the postseason, and that experience is going to help Luck get to the next level.

Jonas Gray ripped the Colts apart for 201 yards and four TDs. The Pats' offense combined ran for 246 yards, plus another 257 through the air. Since then, Indy has held opponents to 88 rushing yards or fewer three times, and has allowed an average of 110.4 rushing yards per game. Thus far in the playoffs, Indy has allowed an average of 99 yards on the ground.

Since losing to the Pats in Week 11, Indy has lost the turnover battle six times, and tied the other two times. The Colts went 7-1 in those games. Just imagine if Indy could actually win the turnover battle. Even if they don't, no team can overcome turnovers like the Colts. A couple of big mistakes aren't going to keep Indianapolis out of the Super Bowl.
