After the Seattle Seahawks' insane comeback win over the Green Bay Packers, it's easy to peg the Seahawks as a team of destiny. However, here are five reasons why the New England Patriots are going to play dream-crushers to the Seahawks by making their own destiny.

If he did, he'd be retired. In two playoff games, he's led the Pats' offense to 40 points per game. He may not put up quite that much against the Seattle defense, but he's going to find a way to put points on the board.

For those who really believe in fate or destiny, Seattle's crazy comeback makes it look like the universe is unfolding for it. Don't forget that the week before against the Baltimore Ravens, the Pats erased two 14-point deficits, then finally took back the lead for good by erasing a three-point fourth-quarter deficit. If the universe is really on your side, wouldn't a 45-7 beatdown be a better way of showing it than a close victory?

The matchup everyone is thinking about is the New England offense vs. the Seattle defense. The Patriots' offense has too many ways of beating opponents. Preparing a game plan for arguably the league's most complex offense is going to be tough. There are too many weapons that can blow up at any time. Trying to account for all of them is going to be very difficult, even for the league's best defense.

I don't know what kind of tricks he's going to have planned, but Belichick with time is scary. He's another reason why I'm betting on the Pats' offense to beat the Seahawks' defense. He has top quality personnel, and two weeks to figure out how to use them.

The Pats' defense has been great this season, yet most of what you will hear about leading up to the Super Bowl is the Seattle defense or the Patriots' offense. Russell Wilson will probably get a ton of attention too. So, the defense that allowed just 19.6 point per game this season will be playing fourth fiddle at best. That will be plenty of motivation to steal the show on Super Bowl Sunday.
