It’s a good thing Marshawn Lynch attended Super Bowl Media Day. If not, he would have been looking at a very hefty fine.
#NFL source says Marshawn Lynch treated with $500K fine if he failed to be available for Media Day. “I’m just here so I don’t get fined.”

Well, Lynch gave the people what they wanted — he showed up for Media Day. Never mind the fact that he only said one phrase over and over and over again. At least it was very entertaining for everyone watching.
Bottom line: Lynch and the NFL are clearly not on the same page when it comes to Lynch appearing in front of the media. He clearly does not want to be in front of the cameras, or else he would answer questions in a proper manner. Regardless, Lynch seemed to be all smiles at Media Day, and he certainly made quite a bit of people laugh in the process.
It remains to be seen if he will get fined after saying the same thing over and over again, but at least it appears he dodged a $500,000 fine. Way to mock the NFL, Lynch.
