There will be 30 teams watching the game on Super Bowl Sunday wishing that they were in the same position as the Seahawks and Patriots. A number of teams around the league have hope that next season will produce a more promising result. Check out five NFL squads that will be vastly improved in 2015.

The Rams had an unfortunate 6-10 season in 2014, which was largely due to injuries at quarterback. Sam Bradford's ability to stay healthy is a key concern to the franchise, but there is plenty of young talent on the roster. The Rams have an excellent defense that is anchored by a strong defensive line. St. Louis has a few offensive weapons but needs someone to consistently get them the ball.

The Vikings had a mediocre year in 2014, winning seven games total. First-year head coach Mike Zimmer brought his defensive prowess to the team, and rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater received valuable playing experience. If Minnesota surrounds Bridgewater with more talent on offense, this team can make a run at the playoffs next season.

The Chiefs barely missed out on the playoffs in a highly competitive AFC last season, but still finished with a winning record. With a coaching change and possible retirement from Peyton Manning possibly shaking up things in Denver, next season could be the time for Andy Reid's team to shine. Kansas City must upgrade at the receiver and offensive line positions to solidify its roster heading into next year.

Every few years, the Giants come out of nowhere to win the Super Bowl. I see a similar season on the horizon for Big Blue in 2015. Eli Manning looks much more comfortable in the new offense and Odell Beckham Jr. is a superstar in the making. If Tom Coughlin can patch up the leaks on defense, then the Giants will be a contender next season.

Houston went 9-7 in Bill O'Brien's first season at the helm of the Texans. The team already has a strong defensive led by J.J. Watt and a number of playmakers on offense. The final piece that's missing to this puzzle is a quarterback, which could be addressed in the upcoming NFL Draft. The Texans seemed poised to take off in the AFC South next season and make some noise.
