After another dominant season in 2014, and now as an unrestricted free agent, Dez Bryant is sure to be looking for a big payday this offseason. Bryant has made it clear he’d like to stay in Dallas and sign a lucrative long-term extension with the team. The question now becomes, how bad do the Cowboys want to keep him? As you can see in the tweet below, the big wide receiver is wondering the same thing and isn’t sure just how committed the Cowboys are.
I wish They felt the same way but it’s cool.. It’s #business RT @FrankyGonzalez3: I love how dedicated @DezBryant is to the @dallascowboys

At this point, it wouldn’t be fair to say there’s no hope Bryant resigning with Dallas, but it’s definitely not what you want to see if you’re a Cowboys fan. Rather than giving their No. 1 receiver a long-term extension like he deserves, Jerry Jones could very well slap Bryant with the franchise tag. Players hate being given the one-year tag and consider it almost as a slap in the face. There’s still plenty of time for the two sides to come together and agree to a deal that works for both sides, but it’s clear as of now, Bryant isn’t happy.
