Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 5 Potential Playoff Opponents In 2015

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may not look like a playoff team currently, but things tend to change quickly in the NFL. Would it be inconceivable to see Jameis Winston join the Bucs and lead them to the playoffs? I say no. He may not have high character, but Winston can play football. Here are five potential playoff opponents for Tampa Bay in 2015.

The Legion of Boom should be back and healthy, but will Marshawn Lynch retire or come back for one more season? He may only show up for interviews to avoid fines, but Lynch should return at least to see if another Super Bowl run is possible.

Jerry Jones had to be pleased with what he saw from Tony Romo last season, and the Dallas Cowboys have a roster capable of running, throwing deep or carving up the middle of the field with Jason Witten. The Buccaneers would have trouble keeping up with Dallas defensively.

Aaron Rodgers showed true grit this last year by playing through injuries, and he is my favorite to win NFL MVP next season. The Green Bay Packers would prove to be quite a tough playoff opponent for the Buccaneers. Winston, the presumptive No. 1 pick, would get embarrassed against Rodgers and company.

Chip Kelly's offense going against Lovie Smith's defense in the playoffs? Sign me up. This game would be a battle in styles, and I would have to bet on the Philadelphia Eagles based on their track record.

Since you did not see any AFC opponents on this list, you can rightfully conclude that I don't think Tampa is going to the Super Bowl. They could be an interesting playoff choice, though, and seeing them face off against their rival the New Orleans Saints would be a treat.
