The Denver Broncos may have lost Julius Thomas, but at least they are bringing one tight end back. That tight end is Virgil Green.
Virgil Green has informed #Bears hes staying with #Broncos.

Now, in no way are Virgil Green’s stats impressive from an offensive standpoint, but maybe he will get a bigger role on the team in the upcoming season.
In 13 games last season, Green only had 74 yards and one touchdown. Those numbers don’t exactly scream best TE in the league, but once again, hopefully he will receive a bigger role in the upcoming season.
There’s no doubt about it: Denver is going to miss Thomas. When he was healthy, he was a top tight end in the game.
In the grand scheme of things, Green has a chance of winning a Super Bowl with Denver. That wouldn’t have been the case with the Chicago Bears. Well, at least not in 2015-16.
Peyton Manning can turn any receiver into a star. Hopefully that will be the case with Green in 2015. Okay, so he more than likely won’t become a star, but hopefully he at least gets more targets.
