5 Late-Round Sleepers the Titans Should Target in 2015 NFL Draft
Don McPeak-USA TODAY Sports
The Tennessee Titans enter the offseason with holes all over the roster. Ken Whisenhunt and the front office have a lot of work to do before the Titans can contend for anything besides a top-five draft pick. The draft will be critical over the next few years. The team must get production out of early picks as well as finding role players with the late picks. Here are five players the team should target on Day 3 of the draft.

The Titans currently don't have a fullback on the roster. Jackie Battle, who is listed as a FB, remains unsigned after he became an unrestricted free agent. Joey Iosefa played a lot of RB at Hawaii, but he's an excellent blocker and should have no problem converting to a full-time FB. Despite missing seven games in 2014, he still rushed for a career-high 617 yards. He should be available for the Titans at the end of the draft.
4. Brandon Bridge (QB-South Alabama)

Ken Whisenhunt loves quarterbacks like Brandon Bridge. Big, strong-armed passers who can make all the throws. The Titans aren't going to draft Marcus Mariota for that reason. It's also why Jake Locker struggled in Whisenhunt's offense. Granted, Bridge does have above-average mobility, but he would much rather throw a laser than scramble out of the pocket. His accuracy needs work, but he won't be expected to start right away.
3. Andrew Donnal (OT-Iowa)

The Titans need help on the offensive line. Michael Roos and Michael Oher are no longer with the team. 2014 first-round pick Taylor Lewan will start at left tackle, but the right tackle job is up in the air. Unless the Titans make a move in free agency, Andrew Donnal could be a Week 1 starter. Brandon Scherff receives most of the praise among Iowa offensive linemen, but Donnal has been solid on the right side.
2. Craig Mager (CB-Texas State)

The cornerback position may not be the team's most pressing need, but it could certainly be upgraded. Jason McCourty is the only starting-caliber CB on the roster. Coty Sensabaugh and Blidi Wreh-Wilson should not be counted on to start. Craig Mager won't be expected to start either, but he adds much needed depth to the position. The four-year starter at Texas State could compete for playing time early on.
1. Mike Hull (LB-Penn State)

In the Titans' 3-4 scheme, Mike Hull would be expected to play inside linebacker. He's not going to take a starting role away from anyone, but he adds depth to the position. He has great awareness and plays well in coverage. However, he may not have the athleticism to track down the ball. Still, he's a solid special teams player who could earn playing time on defense over time. The Titans would be wise to consider Hull in Round 5 or 6.
