2015 NFL Mock Draft: Tennessee Titans Seven-Round Mock, Late-April Edition

The Tennessee Titans could change the entire setup of the 2015 NFL Draft with a trade, because the Titans need far more than one player if they are to get back on track for the playoffs. With starters and depth needed at multiple positions, this draft is crucial for the future of the franchise. With no picks in the seventh round and two picks in the sixth, here is a full 2015 mock draft focusing on the Titans' needs and fits.

The Tennessee Titans have to get to the quarterback. Zach Mettenberger is a capable quarterback who still needs a lot of work, but drafting a QB with their No. 2 overall pick could be detrimental to a team that needs players all over the field. Williams could come in on defense and make an impact from the first snap.

With the Michael Oher signing being a complete flop, the Titans need someone to come in who can boost the offensive line. With a young line that includes Taylor Lewan, Chance Warmack and Brian Schwenke, Fisher would be able to grow with this line from day one. The Titans will need to bring in some veterans for depth, however.

Round 3, No. 66 Overall – OLB Hau’oli Kikaha, Washington

An extremely talented linebacker, Kikaha is spectacular in space. He makes up for his weaknesses with effort and could easily be a steal in the third round.

Round 4, No. 100 Overall – CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, Oregon

Likely a first or second-round prospect before his injury, Ekpre-Olomu could bring depth to the cornerback position for the Titans with starter potential. If he’s available, he is a must at this point in the draft.

Round 5, No. 138 Overall – WR Tony Lippett, Michigan State

Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter are the Titans’ explosive receivers. Now, the team needs a solid, go-to receiver. If the team builds around Mettenberger, a player like Tony Lippett, who was “the guy” for Michigan State last season, with a quarterback who fits Ken Whisenhunt’s style would be perfect.

Round 6, No. 177 Overall – OT Chaz Green, Florida

Tennessee will not win games unless they can start protecting the quarterback. Say what you want about the Titans’ QB play recently, but their horrible offensive lines have been a clear part of that.

Round 6, No. 208 Overall – CB Justin Cox, Mississippi State

Multiple draft experts have Justin Cox going to the Titans with this pick, and it seems like it’s a great choice if he’s available. Tennessee needs depth on defense, so a player who was on an elite college defense like Cox was with the Bulldogs would be the perfect fit.
