On Thursday night at 8:30pm ET, the Chicago Bears (4-6) will be at legendary Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers (7-3).
“The Crowd” predicts a final score of Packers 27 – Bears 23 with an over/under of 50.7. The Packers enter the game with the sixth best point differential in the NFL (+51). The Bears, by comparison, have one of the worst point differentials in the league (-37). The Packers’ offense ranks 21st in yards per game (341.9) but are ninth in points scored (249). They will face a Bears defense that rank 14th in fewest yards allowed (340.9) but are 22nd in fewest points allowed (251).
The Bears’ offense ranks 16th in yards per game (352.1) and 21st in points scored (214). They will be up against a Packers defense that ranks 21st in fewest yards allowed (368.6) but are tied for eighth in fewest points allowed (198). The Packers have the third best turnover margin (+8) in the league while the Bears (-3) rank near the bottom.
Bears star running back Matt Forte will likely be limited as he recovers from a knee injury that cost him several games. Ultimately I think the Packers are too strong on both sides of the ball and win this game comfortably at home.
PREDICTION: Packers 31, Bears 20
