Back in November of 2012, Tyrann Mathieu declared for the 2013 NFL Draft. One of our expert NFL Draft analysts, Gil Alcaraz IV, wrote an article opining that Mathieu was not worthy of selection in the draft, that he had mostly rode the coattails of a brilliant defense and his issues on and off the field would inhibit his ability to be a good pro.
Oops.
Chalk it up to a wrong prediction, something that happens to NFL Draft analysts more often than any other thing you can make predictions on (at least it seems that way), and call it a day, right? Wrong. Mathieu remembers said prediction, and took to Twitter today to remind us that a Honey Badger never forgets.

How are you supposed to respond to this? The guy is clearly proving the doubters wrong. This was all I could come up with.

The best part of this whole situation is Honey Badger being a great sport about this whole thing.

I truly believe it’s awesome he saved/remembered this and uses anything he can to keep fueling his fire. Keep doin’ you, HB.
