The Oakland RaidersKhalil Mack has been the best pass rusher for the silver and black and is on his way to becoming the best pass rusher in the NFL. The second-year defensive end helped lead the Raiders to a 15-12 upset over the Denver Broncos Week 14 with a whopping five sacks on Broncos QB Brock Osweiler.

Coming into the Week 14 AFC West matchup, the Raiders were a 7.5-point underdog on the road against a team they had lost eight-straight games to. The only way the Raiders were going to walk out of Denver with a victory was if their offense exploded for at least 30 points. However, Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, Latavius Murray and Michael Crabtree all had relatively pedestrian games and the Raiders’ offense looked mediocre at best.

Instead, it was the Raiders’ defense that stepped up and helped pull off the improbable win over Denver, a defense led by the Mack-Attack. After the Broncos got out to an early 12-0 lead at the half, the Raiders’ defense completely shut them out in the second half thanks to Mack who racked up all five of his sacks on Osweiler in the third and fourth quarters.

After Sunday’s performance, the defensive end now has 14 sacks on the season leading the entire NFL. Mack is making a big impact on the Raiders and becoming an elite pass rusher in the league. So far he has been a steal for the Raiders who took him No. 5 overall in the 2014 draft, and he is on the way to becoming the best pass rusher in the game.
