The Denver Broncos dominated the Carolina Panthers for four quarters en route to a 24-10 victory in Super Bowl 50. The Panthers were heavy favorites entering the game but couldn’t get anything going on offense, as they turned the ball over three times which led to 18 of the Broncos’ 24 points. As a result of the poor showing, these five Panthers should be cut this offseason.

The Panthers were excited about Jones entering the season because he performed so well last season after moving from safety to a slot corner. Unfortunately, he was exposed on numerous occasions this season and didn't do anything to warrant earning a roster spot in 2016.
4. CB Teddy Williams

Williams was signed to be a special teams ace, but his inability to help out at all in the secondary makes it tough to justify keeping him on the active roster every week. He only has one year left on his deal, and the Panthers could find a corner in the draft to help out on special teams and be further ahead.
3. DE Jared Allen

Allen is owed $8.5 million in 2016 which is too expensive for a guy who only recorded two sacks in 2015. There are rumors swirling that Allen may decide to retire which would save the Panthers from having to release him.
2. DE Charles Johnson

Johnson has one year left on a six-year contract that he signed in 2011 which is scheduled to pay him $10.75 million in 2016. While he's a fan favorite and has been with the Panthers his entire career, that's too much money to pay for a guy who hasn't been real productive in recent years.

Remmers is a restricted free agent, but the Panthers need to just let him walk. He's a solid run-blocker, but he got exposed mightily in pass protection by Von Miller last night.
