With the New York Giants holding the tenth overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft there will be plenty of options. That is a good thing because the Giants have a ton of holes to fill on their roster. Some of those holes will undoubtedly be filled in free agency but the Giants will need to hit a home run in this draft if they want to get back to the playoffs, something they have missed out on over the last three years.
10. Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson
Kim Klement-USA TODAY SportsLawson is a consistent pass rusher with a high motor who plays the run well. He is only getting better rushing the quarterback and would be a welcome addition to the Giants’ defensive front.
9. Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville

Rankins would be a great compliment to Johnathan Hankins and give the Giants an interior lineman who plays the run well and can get to the quarterback.
8. DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY SportsBuckner is a monster at 6-foot-7 and 281 pounds. He is better against the run but can attack the QB. Teams love his potential and the Giants are among them.
7. Jaylon Smith, OLB, Notre Dame
Matt Cashore-USA TODAY SportsSmith tore his ACL and LCL in the Fiesta Bowl and is a complete wild card but he has the talent to be a Pro Bowl-caliber player. He can rush the passer or drop into coverage and excel.
6. Myles Jack, OLB, UCLA
Getty ImagesJack is another wild card for the Giants. He is coming off of a torn meniscus and could face similar trouble to what happened to Victor Cruz. However, he is the best OLB in the draft and could be All-Pro material if healthy.
5. Robert Nkemdiche, DT, Mississippi
Justin Ford - USA TODAY SportsHe is a big DT who can cause disruption in the pocket. He plays the run well and can add a bit of pass rush to the interior alongside Hankins.
4. Laquon Treadwell, WR, Mississippi
Getty ImagesIt is doubtful that Treadwell falls this far but if he does it might be too enticing for the Giants to pass up. Teaming Treadwell with Odell Beckham, Jr. would make the Giants’ passing attack scary to defend.
3. Jalen Ramsey, CB, Florida St.
Melina Vastola-USA TODAY SportsIt is highly unlikely that Ramsey is still there but if he is he could be the shutdown corner the Giants need to replace Prince Amukamara. Even if they re-sign Prince it would be wise to take him if he is available.
2. Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State
Geoff Burke-USA TODAY SportsWith Will Beatty gone, the Giants have an opening at tackle and Decker projects to be an excellent left tackle in the NFL. They could move Ereck Flowers to the right and use Decker at LT or vice versa.
1. Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State
Getty ImagesBell is the best cover safety in the draft and the Giants have a need at safety. It is doubtful they choose Bell, but he could make a difference in the NFL. He would fill a need and is the best at his position.
