Denver International Airport Pulls Off Classy Tribute For Peyton Manning

Now that his playing career has officially come to an end, former Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Maning will go down as one of the greatest to ever play the game as football — and rightfully so when considering all of the records he owns. Manning received all sorts of tributes following Monday’s press conference, but one of the best may have come from the Denver International Airport.

In what turned out to be one of the most classy moves in regards to Manning’s retirement, the Denver International Airport paid their respects to the future Hall of Fame quarterback by placing his name under Gate B-18 (to match up with his number). Manning spent his final four NFL seasons in Denver and helped the team earn a Super Bowl 50 victory last month against the Carolina Panthers.

With the type of numbers displayed throughout his career, it’s tough to imagine another player wearing No. 18 will ever be able to accomplish what Manning did during his 18 NFL seasons. Even though he only played four seasons with the Broncos, the city of Denver will always be thankful for what Manning did for this team and hats off to the Denver International Airport for one classy sendoff.
