The San Diego Chargers have a lot of holes on their roster, and they will need to have a strong 2016 draft class to improve. They should have the opportunity to trade down if they want to, but there are some high-level players who could be available at the top of the draft. Here are five players who would make an instant impact for the team.

If the Chargers wanted to trade down, then they could target an athletic linebacker to add playmaking skills to their defense. Jack can do it all on defense and has the potential to be an elite defensive player.
4. DeForest Buckner

Buckner’s size and strength would make him a good fit on the defensive line to help improve a struggling unit. The Chargers need to improve against the run, and Buckner would be a solid fit.
3. Joey Bosa

There are a lot of question marks on Bosa, but he is a productive player on the field who would help fill a need for the Chargers. His versatility would allow the Bolts to line him up in a variety of positions.
2. Jalen Ramsey

Arguably the most talented player in the draft, Ramsey would be a great fit in the secondary for the Chargers. Ramsey offers size, athleticism and instincts, and he could become one of the top defensive backs in the league.

With the potential for two quarterbacks to be chosen with the top two picks, the Chargers may have the opportunity to grab Tunsil. The team has had a lot of issues on the offensive line, and Tunsil would be a huge pickup.
