With the 2016 NFL Draft now in our rearview mirror, it’s time to reevaluate the AFC East . The New England Patriots were the only playoff representative from the division last season, but the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills were in the hunt for most of the campaign. The Miami Dolphins went 6-10, but have retooled with a new head coach and a number of on-the-field additions as well.
With that in mind, here’s a look at where these four teams stand as we speak.
4. Buffalo Bills

Rex Ryan talked a big game about his defense last summer, and it ultimately failed miserably all season. Buffalo really hasn't made an incredible number of impressive additions this offseason, and will probably win no more than seven games.

The Jets need to re-sign Ryan Fitzpatrick in order to have any chance of making a playoff run next season. If they are forced to start Geno Smith -- who is their best option as we speak -- this team will be lucky to win eight games.

With new head coach Adam Gase at the helm and a number of additions in place on defense, expect to see the Dolphins play to the potential many expected from them last summer. If the team stays reasonable healthy, Miami should win 10 games.

Despite a lack of flashy additions this offseason, the Patriots are still the premier team in this division until dethroned. Tom Brady turns 39 years old this summer, but has shown zero signs of slowing down. Expect 11 wins minimum from New England.
