Marshawn Lynch Rumors: Oakland Raiders Likely Destination for NFL Return

Rumors of a Marshawn Lynch return have swirled since the enigmatic running back retired following the 2015 NFL season.

And now, according to sources in the area, the Oakland Raiders are reportedly in talks with Lynch about joining their backfield in 2017.

After the Raiders’ back for the past few seasons, Latavius Murray, signed with the Minnesota Vikings earlier this offseason, many believed Oakland would target former Vikings RB Adrian Peterson.

But it seems as though the Silver and Black have their sights set on a Bay Area native, and bringing Beast Mode to an already lethal offense would be quite the coup for Derek Carr & Co.
