The Houston Texans traded up with the Cleveland Browns to select him at No. 12 overall. Thus, it’s fair to assume Watson has a solid chance of winning the starting job over Tom Savage, and the Texans have enough talent to make the playoffs in his rookie season.

Watson’s mother raised him while simultaneously battling cancer. Naturally, Watson broke down after reading an emotional letter she wrote to him following his selection.
