Their feud from a few years ago may have been intense, but it’s clear there is a real respect present from Richard Sherman for the way Colin Kaepernick plays football.
And the Seattle Seahawks‘ outspoken cornerback is one of the few current NFL players to weigh in on the fact that the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback remains unsigned this offseason.
Though Sherman questioned Kaepernick testing him in one-on-one coverage once upon a time, apparently the Seattle cover guy acknowledges the skill level of the still-unsigned signal-caller.
Who knows what all of the reasons are behind owners avoiding Kaepernick, but what seems to be common knowledge at this point is that it’s going to take a serious injury for another team to get him back into the league.
