The scenes from Texas as a result of Hurricane Harvey have been heartbreaking to say the least, but thankfully so many folks have stepped up to help those in need.
First, it was Houston Texans defender J.J. Watt starting a fundraiser and raising over $6 million to date, and now it’s Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones with a little help from wideout Dez Bryant.
The 1million dollar donation phone call from jerry ..what a blessing @dallascowboys @salarmydfw
The fact that Bryant is there manning the phone lines as the Cowboys gear up to start the NFL season is helpful enough, but his owner pitching in $1 million to help those affected by this disaster takes things to another level.
Great job stepping up for the community.
