Chargers Cut Josh Lambo, Keep Trick-Shot Kicker Younghoe Koo as Replacement

In today’s NFL, kickers reside in a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately position where past achievements or track record mean very little to the here and now.

Just ask now former Los Angeles Chargers kicker Josh Lambo, who was cut recently and replaced by trick-shot kicking sensation Younghoe Koo for the 2017 season.

Not sure how useful this skill will be in a game setting, but clearly Koo did enough to impress the Chargers to win the kicking gig.

He’s got a great story, so here’s hoping he makes the most of his opportunity with the Bolts.
